Just Made It to Zimbabwe

In ZimbabweHi everyone, I just made it to Zimbabwe, Praise God. That is one long trip, but I’m happy to make it in one piece and to reunite with the people of Zimbabwe. As soon as I touched down I see there is plenty of work to do, which I am very excited to get on to.

As I write this …it is with tears in my eyes…..I spent the night Tuesday and Wednesday in South Africa and its capital Johannesburg…..a thriving metropolis area with all the amenities and creature comforts one could want.

The neighboring country Zimbabwe I entered into just about seven hours ago and the contrast filled me with sorrow ….and it is in this sorrow that I am typing……Zimbabwe from an first glance appears to be a broken country and its infra-structure needs a total overhaul.

There are so so many things these people do not have that we just take for granted ; such as being able to get air in a flat tire…as soon as I arrived ,we had air that was going down in one of the tires on the way to my destination…

We must have hit seven gas stations that were far apart from each other before we found air…But the contrite and humble spirits that are most the people I have met here who appear to be grateful for whatever God has given them just moves me exceedingly.

Most cannot look in the fridge to make the choice of Pepsi or Sprite…or even Kool-Aid! And to be able to receive a Food Card with money on it every month is an unbelievable dream. When the Great Tribulation comes (and it most certainly will), it will not phase some of the people here… and it is because they already going through it! They are living it in a sort of way…

Being here reminds me that I should never complain again about anything…EVER! And it is my duty to give of myself when God has given me so much! Whatever God gives these people, they know how to embrace it fiercely and a lot of the things they embrace for a sanctuary have nothing to do with God!

But I have discovered that when the healing medicine of the Word of God is rightfully divided and the true agenda of God is brought to light…people are transformed, hope is instille, and strength is manifested…I may just be tired and jet-lagged and a little emotional…but I know one thing and that is …if God never gives me another dime, or suit or-whatever…I will still be in the black and not the red.

Thank you Father in Jesus name!

I want to remind my family in the US that I will continue to give the Friday night Bible Study from Zimbabwe. We have a new line to call in on:

New Conference Line Info
Dial-in Number:  712-432-1620
Access Code: 942858#

So please tell people that you know to join us live Friday night at 9PM CST for our Bible Study.

Also before I left Chicago plenty of people were donating lots of clothing and articles to be brought or shipped over here to Zimbabwe. Please continue to give what you can. We have a brother in charge of organizing the efforts of the clothing and we’re thankful for him. His info can be found in the contact page of our website.

But I won’t make this too long, I’m going to get some rest and get started tomorrow. I love you all, God bless in Jesus name.
