I want to first say thank you to all the friends, brothers and sisters and those people whom I have not had the pleasure of meeting physically but spiritually through this website, for your prayers and supplications and donations. The mission will be continuing in winning souls and setting the captives free not only in the glorious land of Zimbabwe, but all over Africa by the administration and preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
I cannot express to you how humble and grateful it has made me feel to actually be used by God as a conduit and vessel to carry His message of salvation. This mission has and is changing my life forever and I will be forever thankful and appreciative. What I have come to realize is, that to truly work for God, you must have a mind of servitude and all that you do for God should be for the benefit of someone other than yourself. When I look at the works of Jesus, his disciples, apostles and prophets, whether Old or New Testament, all the works or acts were specifically and directly for the benefit others.
Now, these mighty acts serve as a clear directive as to how one that calls himself a Christian or names the name of Christ should exemplify. It will in all ways be a constant reminder of what I am, and what I should be…and I thank God for the clarity between His mind, and mine!
Readers, it is not in us to do what is right unless we lay hold to righteousness. Whatever righteousness we think we may have, before God, it is as filthy rags. If we had righteousness, we would not need to pray, and there would be no need for one to intercede because of our infirmities illnesses. Just how sick are we? Well we are so sick, we do not even know what to pray for as we ought! However, the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us(God is that Spirit whose name is Jesus…the mediator) with groanings that cannot be uttered. It goes further to say…..and he that searcheth the hearts (the Father God), knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit(Jesus the intercessor), because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God (Romans 8:26-27).
As I have stated in other blogs previously, true servitude is and always will be about what you do for others…which is the mind of Christ….let the bible speak…Philippians 2:3-7, Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. (Verse 4), Look not every man on his own things, but also on the things of others. (Verse 5), Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus:( Verse 6), Who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God; (Verse 7), But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of man.
Now if I ever wanted to know how to be a Christian (which means Christ-like), well readers this is one of the most definitive passages in the bible of Christ was and still is. As stated earlier, it is not in us to do this but if we abide in Him and His words abide in us, we can ask what we will, and it shall be done unto us (St. John 15: 7). For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do his good pleasure (Philippians 2:13).
I thank God for this operation that is performing within this earthen vessel and so thankful to all of you who have kept the faith with me in this endeavor. This mission is not over-we are currently sending books, clothes and shoes to Zimbabwe and are setting ourselves to be able to send more teachers over with your support. The harvest is great, but the laborers are few. The mission continues…
Grace and Peace in the Mighty Name of Jesus…
I am scheduled to return in 2 months …our brother Reuben has relieved me until then …pray for the increase in Jesus Name!!!
